Gerhard Teupel (born November 20, 1941 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Goalkeeper Teupel grew up in football in the youth department of his home club Goslarer SC 08 . In 1964 he joined the Werder Bremen amateur team. With this he won the German amateur championship in 1966 . In the final on July 2, 1966, the Werder amateurs led by goalkeeper Teupel 5-1 against the amateurs from Hannover 96. In the 1966/67 season he came under coach Günter Brocker for a job in the Bundesliga . In the 0: 2 home defeat, he represented goalkeeper Günter Bernard against Borussia Dortmund . After the season he moved to SC Concordia Hamburg . For "Cordi" the goalkeeper played a total of 82 regional league games from 1967/68 to 1969/70 in what was then the second -rate regional football league north . After the third regional round, Teupel descended in the summer of 1970 with the Red-Blacks from the Marienthal Stadium alongside players such as Werner Bayerl, Uwe Boers and Dieter Goldbach with Concordia in the amateur camp. Teupel returned to Goslar in later years.
