Gerhard Werner (born August 21, 1912 in Rengersdorf ; † July 10, 1988 in Hannoversch Münden ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a lawyer, Werner studied law and political science in Breslau after attending grammar school in Neisse . There he became a member of the Raczek fraternity in 1934 . After exams and legal clerkship, he was appointed to the government council in 1942 . In 1948 he came to Hannoversch Münden, became a member of the FDP as well as a councilor and member of the district council . In December 1948 he became district administrator in the Münden district , in 1952 mayor and in 1954 city ​​director . In 1966 he retired.
