Gerhoch Reisegger (* 1941 ) is an Austrian right-wing extremist publicist and conspiracy theorist .
Study and job
Reisegger studied physics at the Technical University of Vienna . He was the managing director of an IT company and is now an independent management consultant.
Journalistic activity
The documentation archive of the Austrian resistance and the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution count Reisegger among the “best known representatives of right-wing extremist conspiracy theories”.
Reisegger translated the text of the Australian conspiracy theorist Joe Vialls , in which it is alleged that the tsunami in the Indian Ocean of December 26, 2004 was caused by Americans and Jews by an underwater atomic bomb. He takes the view that the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States were orchestrated by the US government .
In revanchist and Freedom Party ready or almost ready organizations Reisegger occurs as a speaker; abroad he openly seeks contact with neo-Nazis. He is in "a lively exchange with the German neo-Nazi Horst Mahler ", with whom he shares a great hatred of the USA.
Reissegger was u. a. Author of the online magazine "Berliner Umschau" and the Austrian monthly magazine Die Aula . In 1997 he succeeded in getting Cardinal Ratzinger 's permission to reprint his essay "Freedom and Truth", which was first published in Communio in 1995 , but which was then included in the volume "1848 - Heritage and Order" published by the Aula Verlag.
