Germain Burkardt

Germain Burkardt (born December 13, 1821 in Rottweil ; † May 9, 1890 there ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Burkardt attended a grammar school up to the higher grades and then the trade school in Stuttgart . He was a candidate for agriculture in Hohenheim for three semesters and later an intern for a few years. Between 1844 and 1872 he was the owner of a larger estate. From 1874 on he was a member of the state assessment commission in Württemberg , member of the railway council and the local council in Rottweil. He was also chairman of the IX. Gauverband and the agricultural association Rottweil and member of the horse conference.

From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 9 ( Balingen , Rottweil , Spaichingen , Tuttlingen ) and the National Liberal Party , which appeared in Württemberg as the German party .
