Germaine Rumovi

Germaine Rumovi (born March 17, 1903 , † October 24, 1967 ) was an Austrian actress .

Life

Germaine Rumovi studied acting with Armin Seydelmann at the Vienna Academy for Music and Performing Arts . She got her first engagement in Pilsen . Then she played in Bielitz and Reichenberg . In the 1926/27 season she was a member of the Klagenfurt City Theater ensemble as a “youthful heroine and youthful salon lady ” . She was then committed to Mährisch-Ostrau and Linz as well as from the Austrian State Theater. This was followed by an engagement at the Schauspielhaus in Graz , from where Rumovi was committed to the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck in 1952 , of which she remained a member of the ensemble until her retirement. In 1956 she played a supporting role in the homeland film comedy Powder Snow to Overseas . In addition, she worked as a speaker in several radio plays . Germaine Rumovi last lived in the Hilde Wagener home in Baden . She died after a serious operation.
