The Gerow Pass ( Bulgarian Геров проход Gerow prochod ) is a 400 m high mountain pass on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Friesland Ridge of the Tangra Mountains , it is 1.6 km south-southeast of the Pleven Saddle and is bounded east-northeast by Shumen Peak and west-southwest by Gabrovo Knoll . It represents the overland route between the Charity Glacier in the northwest and the Tarnowo-Piedmont Glacier in the south.
Bulgarian scientists mapped it between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Bulgarian linguist Najden Gerow (1823–1900).
