Gert Rickheit
Gert Rickheit (born October 4, 1941 in Braunschweig ; † April 18, 2011 in Bielefeld ) was a German cognitive scientist and linguist and rector of Bielefeld University .
Live and act
After graduating from high school, Gert Rickheit began studying educational sciences , linguistics , German and psychology in his hometown of Braunschweig and continued it in Bochum , where he received his Dr. phil. PhD . Years of activity as a scientific assistant at the Bochum Faculty 6: Humanities and Educational Sciences followed . In 1978 he was appointed to a chair in the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature Studies (LiLi) at Bielefeld University, which he held until his retirement in 2008.
From 1996 to 2001 Gert Rickheit was rector of Bielefeld University.
Gert Rickheit died on April 18, 2011 in Bielefeld.
