Gert Wünsche (born February 19, 1941 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Wish came to Fortuna Düsseldorf from TuS Gerresheim in 1964 , and from 1965 he was part of the regional league team. In the 1966/67 season he belonged to players like Hans-Josef Hellingrath , Klaus Beckfeld and Hilmar Hoffer, coach Kuno Klötzer's team that secured the championship. With a five point lead, Rot-Weiss Essen was relegated to second place. Wish has played 33 games for Fortuna this season. In the subsequent round of promotion, both western clubs prevail. Wish was used in all six relegation games. In the following Bundesliga season , the defender completed 22 games. Fortuna was relegated and Wünsche stayed in Düsseldorf until 1969. During this time he made 32 regional league appearances for the Düsseldorf team.
