Gertrud Marie Berger (born December 15, 1870 in Bergen on Rügen , † December 26, 1949 in Greifswald ) was a German painter .

Gertrud Berger was the second child of the lawyer and notary Carl Wilhelm Ferdinand Berger and his wife Marie Wilhelmine Friederike Tiburtius. She was baptized on February 1, 1871 in a house baptism by the deacon of St. Mary's Church (Bergen) , Bublitz.

Gertrud Berger studied in Berlin . There she was a student of Max Uth (1863-1914), L. Meyer and Ernst Kolbe (1876-1945). She then lived and worked in Greifswald. Her subjects were landscapes and still lifes .
