The Saxony-Anhalt State of Saxony-Anhalt's Law on Help for the Mentally Ill and Protective Measures , or Saxony-Anhalt Mental Health Law for short , is a state law in Saxony-Anhalt .

The law regulates

  1. Help for people who suffer or have suffered from a psychosis, addiction, another pathological mental or mental disorder or a mental or mental disability, or who have signs of such an illness, disorder or disability;
  2. Protective measures through to accommodation for people suffering from an illness, disorder or disability as defined in number 1.

In 2015, an amendment to the law was introduced into the state parliament, but not passed.
