The Thuringian Law on Help and Accommodation for Mentally Ill People , in short Mental Illness Law Thuringia , is a state law in Thuringia . Among other things, the law regulates accommodation .

Thuringia was the last of the new federal states in which the law on admission to inpatient facilities for the mentally ill from June 11, 1968, which had previously been in force, ceased to be in force.

There is a visiting commission based on the law.
