The Law on Help and Accommodation for Mentally Ill People , or Mentally Ill Law for short , is a state law in Schleswig-Holstein .

The law regulates help for mentally ill people and their placement in a hospital.

In 2013 an amendment was discussed and passed by law of May 7, 2015.
