Please note the note on the applicable legal version.

The law on compulsory auction and compulsory administration ( ZVG ) regulates compulsory auction and compulsory administration as a special procedure for foreclosure on immovable property in Germany.

The law deals with two of the three types of enforcement in a property or right equivalent to real property .

The third type of enforcement is the entry of a security mortgage as a compulsory mortgage in the land register (see § 866 , § 867 , § 870 Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO) ).

The law is systematically part of the compulsory enforcement law of the civil procedure code (see § 869  ZPO).
