Gheorghe Dumitrescu
Gheorghe Dumitrescu (born December 15, 1914 in Oteşani , Vâlcea County , † February 20, 1996 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian composer .
Ion Dumitrescu's brother studied at the Bucharest Conservatory with Constantin Brăiloiu , Dimitrie Cuclin , Radu Lupu and Mihail Jora and worked there since 1951 as a professor of harmony.
He composed four operas , three symphonies , a tone poem, four oratorios , choirs as well as theater and film music.
