Ghulam Mohammad Shah

Ghulam Mohammad Shah (born July 20, 1920 in Srinagar ; † January 6, 2009 ibid) was an Indian politician. He served as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir from July 2, 1984 to March 5, 1986 .

In 1944 he joined the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference party founded by his father-in-law Mohammed Abdullah .

In 1984 Shah replaced his brother-in-law Farooq Abdullah as Chief Minister. His own term was ended in March 1986 by a President's rule and Farooq Abdullah was again Chief Minister.

Shah was married and had two sons and a daughter.
