Giancarlo Ferrari (born October 22, 1942 in Abbiategrasso ) is an Italian archer who took part in the Olympic Games five times from 1972 to 1988.

The only 1.66 m tall Ferrari took part in the Olympic Games for the first time at the age of almost thirty, as archery was not back on the Olympic program until 1972 after a 52-year break. After his 33rd place in 1972, he was more successful four years later at the Olympic Games in Montreal and won bronze. At the 1977 World Cup, Ferrari finished second with the team. In 1980 in Moscow , Ferrari was able to win an Olympic bronze medal again. In Los Angeles at the Olympic Games , he only reached 25th place. After Ferrari had participated in the first Olympic competitions after a 52-year break, he took part 16 years later at the Olympic Games in Seoul and took part in the first Olympic team competition after 68 years with his team in ninth place, in the individual competition he did not reach the round of 32 as in his Olympic debut.
