Gilardo Gilardi (born May 25, 1889 in San Fernando / Buenos Aires , † January 16, 1963 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine composer and music teacher.

After first lessons with his father, Gilardi studied with Arturo Berutti in Buenos Aires. His first opera, Ilse , premiered in 1923 at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In 1929 he was one of the founders of the Grupo Renovación , an association devoted to promoting avant-garde music in Argentina, alongside Juan José and José María Castro , Juan Carlos Paz and Jacobo Ficher . In 1939 he received a national prize for the symphonic poem Gaucho con botas nuevas .

Gilardi taught at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and wrote a Curso elemental de armonía . After his death, the La Plata Conservatory was named after him.
