Gillenberg is a district of the municipality of Kall in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1971 the place belonged to the Schleiden district .

The place is between Steinfeld and Diefenbach . The Kuttenbach flows on the northwestern edge of the village .

In Gillenberg there must also have been mining to a lesser extent, because in an exchange deal, Steinfeld in 1702 surrendered his possessions in Gillenberg with the "tens of iron stone and similar minerals" to Salm-Reifferscheid, as it is called in old documents.
