Keldenich is an eastern part of the municipality of Kall in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Euskirchen . Keldenich has a kindergarten and the Catholic Church of St. Dionysius . With around 840 inhabitants, Keldenich is the third largest district in the municipality of Kall.

The incumbent mayor is Arno Lehmkühler (non-party).

history

At Keldenich, Celtic lance tips, tools and coins from the 3rd century BC were found. Found.

On July 1, 1969, Keldenich was incorporated into Kall.

1980 Ewald Koch, Theo Koch, Friedhelm Larres and Erich Poll presented a chronicle of the place Keldenich.

State road 206 runs on the eastern edge of the village . The next motorway junction is Nettersheim on federal motorway 1 .

Culture and tourism

The Primbsch Museum is a private art museum that shows works by the painter EO Primbsch on various topics such as landscapes and flowers as well as socially critical images.

The Eifel-Höhen-Route long-distance cycle path runs through the village and runs as a circular route around and through the Eifel National Park . The place is also affected by the Roman Canal hiking trail .
