The Kuttenbach is a 5.3 km long orographic left tributary of the Urft in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany , on the territory of the municipality of Kall .

course
The Kuttenbach rises north of Krekel at an altitude of 601.5 m above sea level. NHN in the nature reserve Sistiger Heide , which is also called Krekeler Heide. From here the stream flows steadily to the northeast and after a short run reaches the district of Diefenbach . His Bachtal then separates the districts of Gillenberg on the right and Steinfelderheistert on the left. Soon its slopes are covered in forest and on the right is the nature reserve deciduous forest on the Kuttenbach below the Steinfeld district with the Steinfeld monastery at the upper bend in the slope. The stream finally flows into the Urft from the left between the districts of Urft and Sötenich at river km 22.3 .
Catchment area
The approximately 4.5 km² catchment area is located in the North Eifel and is drained into the North Sea via Urft, Rur , Maas and Hollands Diep .
It borders
- in the east to that of the Urft tributary Gillesbach
- in the southeast to that of the Wahlener Bach , a tributary of the Gillesbach
- on the south by the Fischbach , also a Gillesbachzuluss and just to the the Krekeler Bach , a tributary of the Reifferscheider Bach is
- in the southwest to that of the Leiderbach , also a tributary of the Reifferscheider Bach
- and in the west to that of the Kallbach tributary Salbersbach
