Ginger's World (English original title: As Told by Ginger ) is an American animated series that was broadcast in the United States from October 25, 2000 to October 23, 2016. It ran in German-speaking countries from 2003 to 2008. It was first broadcast on KIKA . Production of the series ended in 2003, and in 2005 it was shown worldwide on multilingual versions of Nickelodeon in other countries, while in the US the series was interrupted in 2004 during the premiere of the third season on Nickelodeon's program board. Two episodes were released on a sister channel , Nicktoons , in 2004 and 2006. It also followed until the year 2016, the premieres of four more episodes in the program block The Splat of TeenNick . On 24 October 2016 two episodes were still in the Season 3 TV unpublished, although the series finale, The Wedding Frame (dt. Title The greatest happiness on earth ), released on DVD in 2004 was. In Germany, all 60 episodes were broadcast on KIKA from 2003 to 2007 and then again on Nickelodeon. A German-language DVD release of the series has not yet taken place (as of May 2018). Ginger is invited to Courtney's party, but there is one problem: she has to take care of Carl. She takes him to the party and ties him up with a hose in the backyard. At the party, the kids play spin the bottle. Ginger turns and lands on her crush, Ian Richton. Just before they can kiss, Blake, Courtney's younger brother, arrives in his underwear and ruins the party. Ian wrestles a kiss from Ginger anyway. Meanwhile, Dodie and Macie have their own party at Dodie's house.

Note : This episode first aired on The Splat on Friday October 9th, 2015 . But it was already produced in 1998. In this episode, Blake Griplinig was voiced by Tara Strong .

Ginger, Dodie, Macie, and Darren agree to steal it, but Miranda informs her father, Officer Killgallen, of the theft. Meanwhile, Blake steals Carl's most precious possession: his petrified eyeball.

Courtney invites himself to dinner at Ginger's. Ginger, Dodie and Macie have to do community hours in a retirement home for their crime from Birthday Present. Ginger has to take care of Carl at the same time and takes him there. In this retirement home, Carl meets Maude, an older, odd lady and invites her to dinner the same evening Courtney arrives. Hoodsey is jealous because Carl now spends a lot more time with Maude than he does with him. While Ginger tries to pretend Maude is her grandmother, Carl plans to propose to Maude. Maude then dies during dinner.

Ginger is afraid of going to the school's ski camp because she can't ski. Courtney bets Miranda that she can persuade exchange student Jean-Pierre to kiss Ginger on the chairlift. At the same time, Carl and Hoodsey plan to break the world record for the time in a stuck ski lift. When the ski lift stops, Jean-Pierre tries to kiss Ginger, but she falls out of the ski lift towards the snow and realizes that she can ski, but for the price that she breaks Darren's leg.

Courtney overhears Ginger talking about a slumber party and decides to have her own slumber party when she doesn't know how to go about it. Miranda and the other members of Courtney's group then try to make it look like Ginger is wetting the bed. Meanwhile, Blake invites Carl to his slumber party, but Carl falls ill, so he sends Hoodsey there with a video camera to try to steal the petrified eyeball.

Ginger manages to stop Dodie reading the majority of the list. Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey sabotage Blake's experiment of breeding flies with differently colored wings.

In the meantime, she rubs Carl with a full-body hair restorer, whereupon he becomes a wolf cub.

She decides that Ginger should replace her as Courtney. Ginger is supposed to talk, walk, get dressed, and act like Courtney, and these are just some of the things that are expected of her. Dodie and Macie get jealous because Ginger gets caught up in their new inner circle of friends and lets them down. Since Ginger became Courtney, Ginger has been noted as "missing" all week, which frustrates Lois. Hoodsey, in turn, falls unhappy and suffers amnesia . He becomes "Rob" and it does not seem that he can revive the friendship with Carl, but instead befriends Brandon, which Mrs. Bishop likes much better.

Hoodsey tells this to a Santa Claus on the street, whose real name is Jonas, and Jonas decides to pay his family a visit.

It's summer vacation and Ginger, Dodie and Macie are taking part in their annual trip to Camp Caprice, a girls' camp. But this time something unexpected happens: Courtney tries to prove to Miranda that she is not very maintenance-intensive, as Miranda says. Ginger meets a boy named Sasha at camp and develops strong feelings for him. Meanwhile, Miranda and Darren meet in a military camp on the other side of the lake and fight and fail during the exercises. The two form a small bond. Left behind in Winslow County / Sheltered Shrubs, Carl and Hoodsey run a cleaning service as a cover for their mission to catch the mysterious canine kidnapper in town.

Carl is again disappointed when Hoodsey refuses to help him with his most unfortunate experiment of all time.

But everything went wrong when they found out that Joann accidentally threw away the jar with the almonds.

Lois starts dating Buzz, the plumber who got the mold problem under control on Friday the 13th . Ginger also has a crush on Joaquin and she gets the lead role in the play: An innocent kiss on stage turns into a passionate kiss, which leads to tension between Dodie and Ginger. Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey mix a love potion that they believe Ginger drank and are responsible for the love triangle. It turns out that Lois was the one who took the potion and it had no effect.

Macie's parents forget their daughter's 13th birthday. When Ginger accuses Bobby and Bobbie Lightfoot of this, they feel really guilty and decide that they have to make it up to Macie. They start treating her like a four-year-old, showering her with children's toys and organizing her birthday party at a petting zoo. In the end, Macie decides that even though she had a lot of fun reuniting with her lost childhood, she's now a teenager and that her parents should treat her accordingly, too. Meanwhile, Carl hides for fear of an escaped naked mole rat climbing up his pants legs, and later, when he decides to find her again, he loses his fear when he discovers that she is more afraid of him than he is of her.

The new classmate Laetitia Bowers is not welcomed with open arms. Ginger helps her classmate Hope Rogers find self-confidence. Unfortunately, that confidence leads her to look different, replacing Courtney in her position as the school's most popular girl. As soon as all of Courtney's group turn their backs on Courtney and devote their full attention to Hope Rogers, Courtney becomes a hopeless wreck. Meanwhile, Mrs. Gordon, offended by Carl's practical pranks, pulls into retirement, which shakes him. Finally he begs Mrs. Gordon to come back and she agrees, but she dies a short time later.

This episode is dedicated to Kathleen Freeman , the original English voice of Mrs. Gordon, who died of cancer at the age of 82.

Ginger develops a crush on her quiz team instructor, Mr. Gardner, and Dodie persuades her that he likes her as well. An incredibly strict substitute teacher comes into Ms. Zorski's class and makes everyone's life hell. Ginger thinks this is going a little too far and gets out. But when she is worried by the substitute teacher, she ends the intrigues of her classmates. Miranda and Mipsy pay the board members of the Avalanche Arts Academy (a private art school) to accept Ginger for a semester. When Ginger comes to school, Mipsy's cousin Mitzi (she calls herself Thea to Ginger) has the job of welcoming Ginger and convincing her to stay the whole time. Meanwhile, Darren begins to develop feelings for Ginger. Courtney also decides she'll have to spend as much time with Dodie and Macie trying to soak up every last part of Ginger, but her plans change when she discovers the Miranda and Mipsy scandal. Eventually, Carl gets jealous when he thinks about Hoodsey and Noelle liking each other while persuading Noelle to enter a freakshow competition (because of her telekinetic powers).

Ginger is returning from the Avalanche Arts Academy. As she does so, Dodie and Macie feel like they've stumbled upon a spot where Ginger appears to be busy with her boyfriend Darren. Mipsy and Miranda are also dissatisfied with the situation, because now Ginger ignores them and makes it impossible for them to embarrass them. They get Dodie and Macie to help them break up Ginger and Darren's relationship. Eventually, thanks to Courtney, Ginger learns of the conspiracy. Meanwhile, Noelle Carl loses a bet against Polly Shuster. For a whole weekend Carl has to play "Parrot World" with Polly. Blake takes pictures of Carl who is really enjoying the game and planning to use it for blackmail.

Lois and Joann are fighting over the last ham for Easter in the supermarket. Joann has to go to the hospital and she makes the Foutleys taboo for the bishops. Ginger has to decide whether or not to throw Darren's birthday party without Dodie. Meanwhile, Carl, Brandon and Hoodsey start selling Easter candies. When Brandon quits, Hoodsey takes on the role of entertainer, but Joann's feud with the Foutleys complicates matters.

Dodie's mother gets a job as a substitute teacher at Dodie's school. Dodie feels betrayed when her mother starts hanging out with Courtney and the other "hip" people. Dodie later finds out that it was a consequence of Joann's coronation as "Missed Popularity" (in German: "failed popularity") as a child. In the meantime, Dr. Dave proposes marriage to Lois, but the engagement ring sticks on Carl's finger. Blake uses this and the photos he took of Parrot World to ruin his relationship with Noelle. In addition, Dr. Dave's mother went into town and she and Lois don't like each other.

Ginger and her friends are graduating from junior high school and Ginger is asked to deliver the graduation speech. She's having trouble writing one because, however, it seems that she and her friends are all pulling in different directions. Macie's new bandmate keeps an eye on her, Darren does soccer and Dodie does cheerleading. Carl and Hoodsey and their classmates also graduate from elementary school, and it happens that Polly Shuster tricked Carl into putting the petrified eyeball, Blake's tonsils and Mr. Licorice's tooth in a time capsule.

Ginger, Dodie, Macie and Courtney return to Camp Caprice as counselors. Ginger begins to feel that she doesn't want Darren as a boyfriend, she wants Sasha instead. After an uncomfortable conversation with Sasha, Ginger realizes that she didn't want to date him, she just wanted the feelings she had when she met him. Meanwhile, Dr. Dave staying with Lois because his house is being fumigated, and it turns out his mother has to stay there too. Carl and Hoodsey try to cope with the ongoing heat wave.

At this point in the series, Ginger, Dodie, Macie, Courtney, and Darren have new hairstyles; They all have longer hair and Dodie is now wearing a hair clip.

Ginger, Dodie and Macie are preparing for their annual trip to the fair, only Ginger has one last encore, Darren. Dodie also invites Courtney to retaliate. Darren ends up thinking the whole thing is "lame," and Courtney has to try every little thing. Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey try to free a two-headed horse at the fair.

But that makes her extremely hyperactive and nervous, and she falls into an unhealthy addiction. Meanwhile, Carl's disregard for the rules makes him think that he has inhaled something fatal. However, it is just a false story that his teacher created in return for his daughter's misfortune.

Ginger is in detention for falling asleep in Ms. Zorski II's class, which means she can't go to Darren's football game. Since she does not want to be responsible for their breakup, Dodie Darren writes a letter in which she encourages him to make things clear with Ginger. Meanwhile, Carl and Lois are looking for a house.

Darren decides to tell Ginger the truth and breaks up with her. She returns home where her friends try to comfort her until she finally cries herself to sleep. When her mother comes to check on her, she finds Ginger unconscious from acute appendicitis and she is taken to the hospital, where Dr. Dave saves her life by performing an emergency appendectomy . While she recovers, many of her friends and family come to visit, including her father, Jonas. Carl worries that her father's appearance will revive Lois' feelings for him and her relationship with Dr. Dave ruined. Meanwhile, Ginger reflects on her relationship with Darren and Orion comes to reveal his true feelings for her.

Ginger returns to school after her illness and Dodie is promoted to the official "Gopher" mascot. As she goes about her routine, the cheerleaders fall out of their pyramid and land on Dodie. She breaks her leg and the crew decides to comfort her by making her an official member of the crew. With her new cheerleading status, Dodie ignores Ginger and Macie, who have had enough of the whole thing. When they find out that Dodie lied about breaking her leg, they set about getting Dodie to give up her own cover from the squad. Meanwhile, Carl works with a real estate agent and participates in the sale of houses.

When Ginger learns that the band's program is being cut to pay for the football team's dirt-repellent uniforms, she gets angry and decides to start a petition to bring the band back by claiming she's helping Macie. Darren, wanting to keep the uniforms, starts a campaign against Ginger to keep them. As the two groups argue over the issue, Ginger begins to realize that the real reason she's on their side in the argument is to bring Darren back. Carl, who had promised to be good once he reached middle school, heard voices in his head and told him to be bad. He and Hoodsey instead use a loophole in their pact to cause problems at high school instead, and disrupt Ginger's plan to make a statement at the football game.

Someone is trying to get Lois and Dr. Sabotaging Dave's wedding, including Dr. Dave's mother plans to cast Nikki LaPorte in the role of Dr. Playing Dave's old friend. When Ginger helps her mother with wedding planning, she realizes she's having relationship problems and begins to rethink her relationship with Orion and her old one with Darren. Carl and Hoodsey investigate the situation with Lois' wedding, while Noelle does the same, albeit on a much more specific track. Additionally, Courtney's family loses all of their fortune after Mr. Gripling is arrested. Series finals
