Gino De Sanctis

Gino De Sanctis (born November 20, 1912 in Lecce , † September 13, 2001 in Rome ) was an Italian journalist, writer and screenwriter .

Life

In 1937, De Sanctis graduated from Rome in law and later in political science . For Il Messaggero he then reported as a journalist from Albania and on the liberation struggle; between 1944 and 1947 he worked as editor-in-chief of the monthly literary magazine "Mercurio" and then worked for periodicals when he was touring Asia.

From 1949 he turned to the writing of scripts; By 1967 about thirty films were made with his participation, most of which he was performed as Gino De Santis . In addition, a number of literary works, short stories as well as poetry were created.
