Life

Even after moving to Rome, he quickly found work, especially in the theater and on television, more seldom, albeit regularly, in film, for which he usually remained in the second or third row of character actors. His numerous television works, on the other hand, include series works such as for Ritorna il tenente Sheridan (1963) and Sheridan, squadra omicidi (1967, both by Mario Landi ), Qui squadra mobile (1973, by Anton Giulio Majano ) or Pronto emergenza (1977). Interesting television films with Lavagetto's collaboration were Giuseppe Verdi (1963, Mario Ferrero ), L'ultima Bohème (1964, Silverio Blasi ), Cromwell - Ritratto diun dittatore (1969, Vittorio Cottafavi ) and numerous works from the 1970s and 1980s, a. a. by Marcello Baldi , Marco Leto and again Majano. Since 2000 he has concentrated on his screen appearances. Very occasionally he is also active as a voice actor.

In 1989 he appeared with his then partner Laura Efrikian in the radio comedy La famiglia Birillo with great success . The actor, picky about his roles, lives near Sassari and prefers filming locations near it. He was married to the actress Miranda Martino , with whom he has a son Fiodor. Another marriage to Livia Giampaolo is ongoing.
