Giorgio Cavedon

Giorgio Cavedon (born December 17, 1930 in Brescia , † October 2001 ) was an Italian comic book writer , screenwriter and film director .

Life

As a comic book author, Cavedon created well-known Fumetti characters such as Lucifera, Zordon and above all Isabella de Frissac; He is considered to be the founder of sexy hard comics for adults, which initially transported erotic and later also pornographic content. In 1970 he founded the Elvifrance publishing house with Renzo Barbieri . Cavedon worked as an assistant director in the 1960s , wrote the screenplay for Bruno Corbucci's Isabella, duchessa dei diavoli, and directed his only film, Ombre , a decade later .

From 1949 to 1973 Cavedon was also active as a jazz musician .
