Giovanni Agostino Perotti
Giovanni Agostino Perotti (born April 12, 1769 in Vercelli , † June 6, 1855 in Venice ) was an Italian composer and choirmaster.
Life
Perotti studied music with Stanislao Mattei at the Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna . In 1794 he moved to Venice, where he soon worked in the renowned Marciana Chapel, of which he became director in 1811.
On September 13, 1807 he married Diana Spada, who bore him seven children.
