Girdhari Lal Bhargav

Girdhari Lal Bhargav ( Hindi : गिरधारीलाल भार्गव , Giradhārīlāl Bhārgav ; born November 11, 1936 in Jaipur ; † March 8, 2009 in Ahmedabad ) was an Indian politician and member of the Lok Sabha .

Bhargav ran for the first time in 1989 to represent the constituency of Jaipur in the Indian parliament, the Lok Sabha. He managed to assert himself against his opponents and was able to win a mandate for his party, the Bharatiya Janata Party . Until 2004 he ran five more times in the same constituency and always managed to prevail against his challengers.

In March 2009 he traveled to Ahmedabad to meet with a Congress of Parliament. It was also determined at this time that he could run for the Jaipur constituency for a seventh time in 2009. Bhagarv complained of chest pain during his stay in Ahmedabad. He suffered a heart attack, which he died on March 8th. His cremation ceremony took place immediately afterwards in his hometown. Numerous politicians in Rajasthan took part.
