Gisela Clauss

Gisela Elisabeth Linda Clauß (born April 11, 1949 in Dresden ) is a German politician (CDU).

After graduating from high school, Clauß completed training as a textile worker and then studied architecture. She joined the CDU in 1990 and has been chairwoman of the local association in Dresden- Mockritz -Beutlerpark since 1995 . She was a member of the state board of the local political association and between 1991 and 1995 managing director of the women's union in Saxony. She had been a member of the Saxon state parliament since July 1995 when she moved up on the state list. In the 1999 state elections , she moved into parliament again via the CDU state list and was a member of this until 2004. She is chairwoman of the Saxony regional association of the Paneuropean Union . She is a member of the state board of the East and Central German Association of the Saxon Union. Her other honorary positions include the chairmanship of the German War Graves Commission , Dresden City Association.
