Gisela Sengl

Gisela Sengl (born July 21, 1960 in Munich ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

biography

Gisela Sengl is a trained landscape gardener and, together with her husband, runs an organic vegetable farm in the Traunstein region. Since 2001 she has been running the farm's organic food store in Sondermoning . In addition, she attended from 2007 to 2009 at the IHK sideline one upgrading training for economists landlady .

She has been with the Greens since 1984 and joined the party in 1998. From 2000 to 2002 she was the board spokeswoman for the district association of Traunstein. Since 2010 she has been the board spokeswoman for the Chiemsee-Ost local association and as a member of the district board.

In the state elections in Bavaria in 2013 she entered the Bavarian state parliament via the list in the constituency of Upper Bavaria and was elected as the agricultural policy spokeswoman for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group. As in 2013, she also ran for the state election in Bavaria in 2018 in the Traunstein constituency and would be re-elected from the Upper Bavarian district list. Sengl is a member of the Committee for Food, Agriculture and Forestry there.
