Giuliano Nostini (born October 3, 1912 in Rome , † August 16, 1983 in Brixen ) was an Italian foil fencer .

successes

Giuliano Nostini became world champion six times with the team , five of them in a row: 1933 in Budapest , 1934 in Warsaw , 1935 in Lausanne , 1937 in Paris , 1938 in Piešťany and 1949 in Cairo . In 1947 he also won silver with her in Lisbon . In 1949 in Cairo he secured his only medal with bronze. At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he and the team reached the final round unbeaten, in which the Italian team won all games except against France and thus finished second. In addition to Edoardo Mangiarotti , Saverio Ragno , Giorgio Pellini , Manlio Di Rosa and his brother Renzo Nostini , he received the silver medal.
