Giulio Bosetti (born December 26, 1930 in Bergamo , † December 24, 2009 in Berceto ) was an Italian actor and theater director .

Life

After dropping out of his political science studies, Bosetti attended the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica for a few months in 1949/1950 . In 1950 he made his debut with the ensemble of the ensemble of the University of Padua under the direction of Gianfranco De Bosio ; This was followed by appearances at the "Piccolo Teatro di Milano" and in 1953 at the "Teatro Ruzante" in Padua, where he gave a remarkable interpretation of Bertolt Brecht's husband is husband . After an engagement in Genoa he played three pieces alongside Vittorio Gassman in 1954/1955 , including Kean and King Oedipus . From 1992 to 1997 he was director of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto "Carlo Goldoni" .

From 1958 Bosetti was also seen in over thirty roles for television and film. His television appearances were more important than his roles for the cinema, which never called his interpretation skills. After 1968 he played in Il segreto dell'uomo solitario , which he co-wrote, and then in several works.

Bosetti was married to Wanda Cardamone from 1954; later the couple separated.
