Giuseppe Alberghini
Giuseppe Alberghini (born September 13, 1770 in Cento (Emilia-Romagna) , † September 30, 1847 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Roman Church .
Life
Alberghini began studying law in Bologna and finished his studies in Rome. When he was ordained a priest is unknown. Member of the Roman Curia , he became on June 23, 1834 by Pope Gregory XVI. elevated to cardinal in pectore , which was published on April 6, 1835. As a titular church, he was assigned to Santa Prisca . Cardinal Alberghini participated in the conclave of 1846 that Pope Pius IX. chose.
Giuseppe Alberghini died in Rome in 1847 and, according to his will, was buried in the Roman church of Il Gesù .
