For the 1939/40 season, Giuseppe Baldini moved from the US Città di Pontedera to the then Serie A club AC Florence . In the 1939/40 season he won the Coppa Italia with AC Fiorentina . On the 1942/43 season Baldini then moved to Ambrosiana-Inter .
