Giustino Giulio Pastorino

Giustino Giulio Pastorino OFM (born June 10, 1910 in Masone , Italy ; † April 26, 2005 ) was Vicar Apostolic of Benghazi from 1965 to 1997 and Apostolic Administrator of Derna in Libya from 1966 to 1978 .

Life

Giustino Giulio Pastorino joined the Franciscan Order and was ordained a priest on May 26, 1934 .

Paul VI appointed him on January 11, 1965 Vicar Apostolic of Benghazi and Titular Bishop of Babra . The Bishop of Acqui Giuseppe Dell'Omo consecrated him on March 21 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Pacifico Giulio Vanni OFM, Old Archbishop of Sovana-Pitigliano and Pietro Massa PIME , Bishop of Nanyang .

On March 10, 1997, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
