history
At the beginning of the 1980s, many performers of the disco era had to cope with a setback in the charts. So this song came as a comeback for KC and the Sunshine Band. It became her biggest hit on the east side of the Atlantic. It was released on April 23, 1983. In Great Britain and Ireland , the post-disco song reached the top of the charts.
The song is used at some sporting events in Great Britain, for example at the 2012 Scottish Cup Final in the 5-1 victory of Heart of Midlothian against Hibernian Edinburgh and at the same time paid homage to the former Heart of Midlothian manager Paulo Sérgio Bento Brito . Vincent van der Voort could also hear it when he started a game .
