Glen Echo is a village founded in 1904 in Montgomery County in the US state of Maryland in close proximity to the US capital Washington, DC In the village is the historic amusement park Glen Echo Park and the first office of the American Red Cross , which has been a national memorial since 1974 Park Services is a National Historic Site type ( Clara Barton National Historic Site ).
