The Glenne is a 17.1 km long left tributary of the Möhne in the Arnsberg Forest , North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).
geography
The Glenne rises about 800 m north of Altenbüren in the Arnsberg Forest at an altitude of 478 m above sea level. NHN . From here it first flows in a northerly direction and on the right takes on the Musenbecke flowing in from Scharfenberg . East of the Großer Äsberg it turns its course to the west. A few kilometers further on, it passes Kallenhardt, which is on a hill, in the north and shortly afterwards reaches Körtlinghausen Castle . West of Rüthen the Glenne flows out at an altitude of 270 m above sea level. NHN on the left in the Möhne.
On its 17.1 km long path, the Glenne overcomes a difference in altitude of 208 m, which corresponds to an average bed gradient of 12.2 ‰. It drains an area of 67.296 km².
