gligg records was an independent German record label specializing in experimental and avant-garde jazz , improvised music and new music and was active between 2010 and 2017.
In 2010 the musician Martin Schmidt founded the label in Schiffweiler in Saarland . The Saarland is an area with a long mining history , which the record label reflects in its name.
