The Glitrefjella ( Norwegian for Glitter Mountains ) is a mountain group in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is part of the Smedfjella in the center of the Sør Rondane Mountains and rises up on the southern flank of the Glitrefonna .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 2017 based on the name of the neighboring glacier.
