Glory Onome Nathaniel gained her first international experience at the 2013 African Youth Athletics Championships in Warri , where she won the gold medal in 62.04 seconds. So she qualified for the Youth World Championships in Donetsk , where she was eliminated with 67.06 s in the first round. Two years later she won the bronze medal at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa in 60.51 s. In 2017 she won the silver medal in the hurdles behind the Bahraini Kemi Adekoya at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku in 55.90 seconds . She was also able to secure the silver medal with the 4-by-100-meter relay and the 4-by-400-meter relay. She also qualified for the World Championships in London , where she was disqualified in the semifinals . With the season she came in fifth with 3: 26.72 minutes in the final . In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time , where she was sixth in the hurdles in 56.39 s and won the silver medal behind the Jamaicans in 3: 25.29 min. In August she won the African Championships in Asaba, home, in 55.53 s. She was then tested for the banned substance stananzolol , her gold medal was revoked from the African Championships and she was banned by the world association.
