The Gmina Wąsosz is a rural community in the powiat Grajewski of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name (German: Wagenschoss ; Lithuanian: Vonsošas ).

Wąsosz pogrom
During the Second World War , at least 70 Jews were murdered by Polish anti-Semites in the Wąsosz pogrom on July 5, 1941 . According to other sources, there were up to 250 victims - almost the entire Jewish population of the village.
