Ko Ah-seong (born August 10, 1992 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actress who is best known for her role in The Host , which has long been the most successful South Korean film. For her role in Park Hyun-seo , she received the Blue Dragon Award in 2006 in the category of best young actress . She is currently studying psychology at Sungkyunkwan University .
In 2019 she embodied the Korean freedom fighter Ryu Gwansun in Jo Min-ho's biopic A Resistance ( 항거: 유관순 이야기 Hanggeo: Ryu Gwansun Iyagi ) .
