He visits the Haenggung palace complex, surrounded by the Hwaseong fortress , and sees a pretty woman. When she sits down to have a drink, the two of them start a conversation and Ham learns that her name is Yoon Hee-jung and that she works as a painter. They go to a café together and Ham asks her if he can see her pictures. When they go to their studio, he praises their pictures. Finally they both go to a restaurant and director Ham tells her that he likes her very much and that he thinks she is beautiful. Hee-jung feels flattered and feels sorry for herself because she has no real friends. As a result, both of them go to see Hee-jung's friend that evening. There the two women present are very interested in the director. You ask him u. a. whether it is true that he is a womanizer, mention that he is married and has children. Hee-jung just wants to sleep on it. The director and Hee-jung won't see each other again. The next day, Ham Chun-su appears irritable when discussing his film.

The second part of the film is largely the same up to the scene in the studio, where director Ham Hee-jung's pictures are critical. At first she feels that he has treated her unfairly, as he can speak so negatively about her work. But both eventually come to a common denominator and go out to eat together. Ham confesses to her that he thinks she is beautiful and that he would love to spend his life with her. However, he is married and has children. Hee-jung that's very flattering. She invites him to go to a friend's house together. Hee-jung sleeps there. She does not notice how the drunken director undresses in front of the women present.
