Jung Jae-young (born November 21, 1970 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actor .

Life

In Verschollen in der City (2009) he plays a heavily indebted man who is abandoned by his girlfriend, whereupon he wants to commit suicide and jumps off a bridge. However, he was washed up on a small island in the middle of the Han-gang . A young woman, who never leaves her room, notices him one day through binoculars and so begins an inconspicuous love story.

In 2012, he starred as a detective in the film Confession of Murder , which deals with the issue of the statute of limitations on murder.

After Uri Sunhi (2013) , Jung worked again in 2015 with the film great Hong Sang-soo . He played a director in Jigeum-eun Matgo Geuttae-nine Teullida . At the Locarno Film Festival , he was recognized as the best actor for his performance .
