action

The extended Kang family moved from the city to a large house in the mountains. They converted this into a hotel for hikers. At first the guests stay away, which leads to dissatisfaction among family members. The family consists of 17-year-old Kang Mi-na, who tells the story, her older sister Mi-su, brother Yeong-min, uncle Chang-ku, and her parents Tae-gu and Jeong Sun-ryae.

After a few days, a confused, old woman comes to the hotel who uses many incomprehensible words and speaks of a curse. After all, a first guest is also looking for a room. At night he grinds his room key, which wakes Mi-na and wakes her sister. The next morning the family found the man dead in his room. They suspect suicide, but decide to bury the bodies in the forest because they fear the police will not believe them. Later a couple comes to the hotel and has sex there. The next morning they are also lying dead next to each other and are then buried by the family in the forest.

Later the hotel runs better and two friends arrive, one of whom tries to get closer to Mi-su. She also finds the man attractive and goes into the forest with him in the evening. There the man tries to rape her, but her brother can intervene in time. He eventually pushes the man off a cliff. The man's friend is held in a shed so he cannot tell the police.

Mr. Park, who is making the house available to the family, asks for a room for his younger half-sister and father. A contract killer is supposed to get the next room and kill them, so that Park is the only heir. However, the hired killer arrives 15 minutes late and is given the wrong room because a police officer who checked in beforehand was mistaken for the killer and is given the correct room. In addition, Chang-ku sends Mr. Park's sister and father to Seoul that night. The hired killer finally kills the policeman, who is later murdered by the ignorant Yeong-min.

Tae-gu has a little fight with his uncle when he realizes that everything has gone wrong. Yeong-min injured himself and was taken to hospital. During that time, the mother and father put the corpses in the shed. When they are about to get the cop there, Mr. Park shows up and realizes that the plan has not been carried out. Then Mr. Park dies fighting with Tae-gu. Finally they both pour gasoline over the bodies in the shed. However, when the rest of the family came home from the hospital and turned on the power, the shed shorted out, igniting gasoline. The parents are also still in the shed.

At the end, Chang-ku, Yeong-min, Mi-su and Mi-na sit down to eat. This is where the parents come in, who wear many bandages. Then they hear a knock on the door. Everyone is very quiet, but the dog barks, whereupon the family appeases the dog.
