action

Raymond, called Ray, is a very good darts player and singer in a jazz band. He has long loved the drummer in the band Kelly, who, however, is not interested in him. Instead, she falls in love with bass player Fozzie, Ray's best friend. This is a fact that Ray laments as particularly devastating in prayer to God. He prays there is some way to make him more interesting to Kelly. After his performance, where he sings a song about the loneliness in his life and throws darts precisely into the middle of the targets, he goes to the bar. There he receives a small package from the barman that comes from an Olympus Foundation . In the package there are darts from the Love Dart 3000 brand . An enclosed letter informs Ray that it is love darts that will make the hit target fall madly in love with whoever the hit person has just watched for six hours. Ray believes it is a joke and tests the love arrow. Band member Frank is so suddenly ensnared by the unknown Angela. In fact, Ray “hit the mark” with the shot. Frank and Angela stay a couple even after the six hours are up. They declare their meeting as fate.

Ray is now preparing everything for the most romantic six hours with Kelly. He is supported by Fozzie, who has always fought off Kelly's advances. Kelly is shot at by Ray with the love dart and falls in love with him. After a walk, both of them go ice skating and eat in Rays' elaborately redecorated home as an underwater cave. Then they see each other in the opera Swan Lake and Ray even tries to cry along with Kelly. Just before the six hours are up, they kiss. When the spell is over, Kelly has not fallen in love with him, but continues to adore Fozzie. Ray tries to find his new love with randomly fired arrows and soon has a whole crowd of women around him - and with Trevor also an accidentally shot man. In the end it's back to the involuntary trio Ray, Kelly and Fozzie. When Kelly tried unsuccessfully to invite Fozzie to her book club after a gig, Ray made a decision: he shoots a love dart at Fozzie when he looked at Kelly.

Shortly afterwards, Ray finds a new package from the Olympus Foundation at home . It has proven itself, it says in the enclosed letter. In the package, Ray finds a bow and numerous arrows - he is now the god of love . He's now creating numerous couples in his bar. In his place, Angela becomes the singer of the band. Ray, in turn, travels to new cities with a bow and arrow on a scooter.
