Good Night White Pride
The movement Good Night White Pride ( English , literally, Good night white pride ') as a reply of the German hardcore - scene on neo-Nazis who were trying to break into the genre of hardcore foot and to infiltrate them. The aim is to “not allow a millimeter of space” for fascism and racism , i. H. to confront these groups of people aggressively at concerts and on the street. The movement is now popular with many hardcore punk and Oi! -Bands actively supported.
Surname
The name of the movement refers to the racist and anti-Semitic White Pride or White Power ideology. This expresses a feeling of superiority of the white “non- Jews ” over other “races” and social classes .
logo
The logo shows the silhouette of an anti-fascist activist who kicks a neo-Nazi lying on the ground . The logo was based on a photo taken on May 8, 1998 during a march of the Ku Klux Klan Ann Arbor (Michigan) . It shows the then 18-year-old African American Harlon Jones.
The logo draws attention to itself on T-shirts, scarves, flyers and posters. Many bands like Loikaemie , SS-Kaliert , Volxsturm support this campaign.

The “Good Night White Pride” initiative was founded in the late 1990s in the German hardcore punk scene when right-wing extremist tendencies were on the rise. The logo should therefore serve as a clear statement. It quickly spread throughout the punk scene and was also received internationally. The logo is still present on T-shirts, flyers, patches and buttons and has been picked up musically by bands such as Loikaemie and Full Speed Ahead . Numerous hardcore punk bands, concert promoters, labels and fanzines support the campaign. However, some followers of the scene criticize the fact that it is often only lip service.
Let's Fight White Pride
To draw attention to the situation of the campaign again, a new or second logo and the slogan Let's Fight White Pride were released in 2007 . This should give the campaign a new impetus.
Counter-counter-movement
Some time later, responses to this counter-movement such as “Good Night Left Side”, “Good Night Commie Scum” and the like developed in the neo-Nazi scene. Ä., The z. B. be spread on T-shirts, sweaters or bumper stickers.
