The Gopher Glacier is a coastal glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Jones Mountains, it flows north from Christoffersen Heights between the Bonnabeau Dome and the Anderson Dome .
Participants in a University of Minnesota expedition to the Jones Mountains (1960–1961) mapped him. Its name is derived from the nickname "Gopher" (slang term for the thirteen-stripe croissant in the United States) for the university and the US state of Minnesota .
