Gora Izvestija ( English transcription from Russian Гора Известия Gora Izvestija ) is a hill in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . In the Aramis Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises in the White Massif .
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped it in 1956. Russian scientists named it. The further naming background has not been passed down. A possible namesake is the Russian daily Izvestia ( Russian for news ).
