Goran Edman

Göran Edman (born April 28, 1956 in Söderhamn , Sweden ) is a Swedish rock singer and composer . Göran became known through his work with the guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen . He has also worked for many bands such as Brazen Abbot , John Norum , Kharma and Signum Regis. Currently (2010) Göran is the singer of the band Karmakanic .

Life

Even as a teenager, Göran listened to progressive rock music such as Genesis and Yes . In 1983 he became a member of the formation Madison and recorded two albums with them. In 1987 he became the singer of the John Norum Band, before he was hired by Yngwie Malmsteen in 1988 and was a member of his band for three years. From 1993 he worked as a freelance musician in many bands and projects and recorded countless albums.
