Goran Markov (born February 27, 1970 in Skopje ) is a former North Macedonian football player .

Life

The offensive player Markov got through the youth teams Tennis Borussia Berlin and the Berlin clubs VfB Neukölln and VfB Lichterfelde from 1990 to the second division club Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin , for whom he scored a goal in nine missions during the 1990/91 season. Since he had not been able to assert himself permanently at Blau-Weiß, Markov moved on to Türkiyemspor Berlin in 1991 and in the winter break of 1992/93 to the first division club 1. FC Union Berlin , with whom he qualified for the new in the 1993/94 season created Regionalliga Nordost succeeded. Markov made a significant contribution to the qualification with 21 goals in 30 games and was top scorer after a further 20 goals in 32 appearances for Union during the 1994/95 regional league season .

The Bundesliga promoted FC Hansa Rostock became aware of Markov through his services for Union and signed him for the 1995/96 season . In this he came for the Hanseatic League but only seven appearances in the top German league. In the following season, Markov was then used in Hansa's second team. Via Tennis Borussia Berlin , where he played in the Regionalliga from 1997/98 , Markov came to TuS Makkabi Berlin in 1999 , where he last worked as a player- coach and where he ended his active career in 2002.

In 2002 Markov was initially assistant coach of the B-youth team at Hertha BSC , with whom he reached the German youth championship in 2003. In 2007 Markov became the coach of the Hertha third team. In 2011/12 and briefly in 2014 he trained the B1 youth of the SFC Stern 1900 .
